At Concept Project Group we have a vision to change the environmental landscape for the manufacturing sector and are passionate about being a responsible business. Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy addresses where we can maximise our positive impact on our clients, the environment and society as a whole.
ENVIRONMENTAL
At Concept Projects Group, we place the environment at the heart of everything we do and firmly believe that small steps can make a big impact.
Our office commitments include using zero-carbon energy and recycling all of our waste. Our project management team have committed to:
- Eating more plant-based meals or less carbon-intensive meats
- Using reusable water bottles and coffee cups
- Not using or buying single-use plastic
- Being a paperless office
We consider the best solutions for the planet in our engineering projects every time – reducing energy and water usage, benefiting both our clients and the environment.
Like many SMEs, Concept Projects Group has a small carbon footprint. As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, we have measured our scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and validated them with Carbon Neutral Britain. Using their Climate Fund™ we have offset our carbon footprint helping to support renewable projects around the world. This is one of the actions on our ESG roadmap, mapping out how we move forward in a sustainable way and align with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Furthermore, we encourage our clients to take up an ‘optional carbon offset contribution’ to allow them to donate an additional 1% of their overall quote value towards planting trees. We have partnered with Make It Wild to support this initiative. By offering this, we provide clients with the opportunity to contribute to global reforestation efforts, helping to slow climate change.
SOCIAL
At Concept Projects Group, community involvement is a core part of our company values. We recognise the importance of building strong relationships with the communities we serve.
For the past two years, we have been delighted to be the main sponsor of the New Ferry Rangers FC local grassroots football tournament, with our logo proudly worn by the Shaftesbury Youth team.
We not only support grassroots football, but also engage with local families and build relationships with fellow Wirral and North West businesses.
We believe that creating a culture of safety is essential for the success of any project, which is why we prioritise health and safety in everything we do. One of our core company values is to make sure that everyone goes home in the same condition as when they arrived at work.
To ensure that we are up to date with the latest best practices and regulations, our team undertakes regular training, including APM and CDM.
All of our project managers complete IOSH Managing Safely training as a standard to ensure our projects are delivered safely. We are proud to have had no lost time accidents or first-aid cases on any of our projects.
At Concept Projects Group, we encourage our team to strive for excellence every day. In addition to providing training opportunities, we offer complimentary gym memberships to all team members, positively impacting their wellbeing. Furthermore, the team also benefits from regular social events, fostering a positive work environment.

We are proud to have achieved our Alcumus SafeContractor and SafePQQ accreditations. These prestigious certifications highlight our commitment to health and safety in every aspect of our project management services.
SafePQQ accreditation serves as a comprehensive assessment of our commitment to sustainability across various key areas. This includes finance, environment, quality management, equality, modern slavery, anti-bribery, GDPR compliance, right to work, building information modelling, and references.
In 2023 we are working towards ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification to support our company mission.
